About the project
Fanancy is a mobile finance app that simplifies financial management for users, offering a secure and intuitive platform to view balances, send money, request payments, top up accounts, and analyze spending. With added features such as QR code payments and detailed transaction histories, SwiftPay empowers users to take full control of their finances on the go.
The Problem
With the growing need for fast, secure, and flexible financial management solutions, users often struggle to manage multiple accounts, track spending, and make payments efficiently. Existing financial apps tend to overwhelm users with cluttered interfaces and complex navigation. Users want a simple, secure, and intuitive app that offers transparency, quick transactions, and real-time data about their spending habits.
My Responsibilities:
As a UI/UX designer, my responsibilities included leading the end-to-end design process from concept to prototype, conducting user research, creating wireframes and user flows, designing an intuitive and visually appealing UI/UX
Design Process
The design process followed a user-centered approach, focusing on delivering value to users by making financial management easy and accessible. The steps included:
1.Research & Discovery:
Identifying user needs and pain points through interviews and surveys.
2.Information Architecture & Wireframing
Creating basic layouts to visualize user flows and app structure.
3.Prototyping & User Testing
Building high-fidelity prototypes to test the app’s functionality and design, and after I Conducted usability tests with potential users and iterating on their feedback.
Final UI Design
The design emphasizes simplicity and accessibility. The Home screen showcases balance information at the top, with large, easily tappable buttons for key actions. The Wallet and Analytics sections are designed with clarity in mind, ensuring that users can view their financial health at a glance.
Results:
We tested the prototype with a small group of users, and the feedback was overwhelmingly positive. Users appreciated the clean interface, ease of navigation, and comprehensive analytics. The app is still in the design phase, with development yet to begin.
